I have been in a
position to lead the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at a
time of profound change in the way we work. There has been a trend
towards subspecialisation and more specialised clinics. I have been
involved in Trust planning activities and re-configuration of
services in my speciality with the introduction of new technology
and work patterns. In anticipation of the requirements of clinical
governance I am setting up new audit arrangements.
