EXTRACTS OF MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 2nd OCTOBER  2006 AT 7.45pm IN THE VILLAGE HALL

 

PRESENT:   Councillor’s Mallen, (acting Chairman) Lilwall, Cockburn and Swain

MINUTES OF LAST MEETING :   Agreed and signed.

- PC are replying to letter received from Mr. & Mrs. Brindle, Licensees of Old Workhouse Bar

PLANNING:

- Wood Farm, Reepham Road – Breckland are starting Enforcement action unless PA is received for storage buildings already under construction.   ‘If  Notice is served it will be served on all parties with an interest in the land and will be placed on the land charges register which may affect any future sales on the site.’

-There were No Objections to the following PA’s –a) 5 Chaucer Close, erection of wood panel fence b) Land to East of B1145 junction with Norwich Road – creation of new car park for Bawdeswell Garden Centre.

-Anglian Water – reply received saying their records do not show they have responsibility for some of the sewage in Hall Road – copies of records received from NCC by PC to be sent.

-20mph speed limit proposal received showing signing layout in The Street, Paradise Road etc. – PC approved proposals.

-Quotes obtained for providing fencing around childrens play area – PC unable to afford to have this work carried out this year but will include costs in December Precept discussions.   It was agreed to have the chain link fence along the driveway restranded at a cost of £484.46.

-NCC to be asked if white lines can be put on road outside entrance to Folland Court into The Street – also request for PO sign.
