MOBILE POLICE OFFICE

 

The Mobile Police Office will be in ‘The Street’ Bawdeswell 11am until 12.30pm every 4th Thursday.

 

This is intended to provide a ‘visible’ police presence in the village. Please make sure that you visit them if you have a problem or need information. Pop in and find out what’s happening in the area.

 

Remaining Planned Visits for 2006 are

 26th October, 23rd November, 21st December

 

This is a good facility for the village. If the police find that it is not being used then it will be withdrawn.

Burglaries At Bawdeswell

 

Detectives are linking two burglaries in Bawdeswell which occurred in October. A home in Two Fields Way was broken into some time between 1pm on Saturday October 14thand 1.20am on Monday 16th October. An untidy search was made of the property and it's believed a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
 
Between 3.45pm and 9pm on Saturday October 14th, a second home in the road was burgled and a quantity of jewellery stolen including a Queen Victoria sovereign mounted pendant with gold chain; a gold pearl ring; a sapphire and diamond ring; a ruby and diamond ring; a Sekonda gold watch and a Swiss army watch.
