Bawdeswell Parochial Church Council

On Sunday 1^st October, after the communion service, the Rector presented Miss Celia Joice with a gold brooch and a bouquet of flowers from all her friends at the church to mark her retirement as organist.  The presentation was followed by wine and nibbles and a chance for everyone to see the gift and to  wish Miss Joice every good wish in her retirement.

I would like to express my grateful thanks to the Bawdeswell PCC and my friends at the church for the gifts presented to me on October 1^st.

The flowers are beautiful and I am simply delighted with the brooch in the shape of a treble clef.

I have enjoyed playing the organ and I am glad James is able to fill the post.
