Bawdeswell Parochial Church Council

Our thanks to our two intrepid cyclists, Ken Ewing and Robin Taylor who took part in the sponsored cycle ride on 8^th September and visited 20 churches.  Half the money they raise will go to the church and half to the Norfolk Churches preservation trust.  Well done, both of you.

We send congratulations to Mark Barrett and Caroline Smith who were married in the church on September 1^st.  We wish them all the best in their new life together.

Good wishes also go to the family of Georgina Christie who was baptised on 16^th September.

A new service pattern has been drawn up and will be discussed at the next churchwardens’ meeting in October.  The only difference to our services will be that they may change to 10.30 each Sunday but we will make sure everyone has as much notice as possible through the magazine and the church notice board.

Our harvest festival will be at the GiG service on October 21^st.  All donations of produce can be left in the church on Saturday 20^th or can be brought to the service.  The produce will be left in the church for the members of the over 60’s club to help themselves.
