Welcome back to everyone, we hope you all had a good holiday!

Welcome to all the new children starting this term, we are sure you will all be happy here at Bawdeswell School.

We now have three classes in school:

Pandas                         Year R, 1 & 2

Rhinos                          Year 3 & 4

Dolphins                        Year 5 & 6

All children have settled in very well and children all seem to be working hard. 

HELP HELP NEEDED

During the summer holiday a group of children raised monies to enable us to improve the pond area.  We are looking for volunteers to restore the pond area to its former glory.   If you can help please see Mrs Vaissiere or Mr Kerkham.

DONATIONS

We have been very fortunate to receive monies from the wills of two benefactors in the last few months.

Mr Winterbone’s bequest has been used to provide the school with new ICT equipment including a video camera, a tape machine and various other pieces of equipment.

Miss Joice’s bequest has been used to start a maths library for the children to borrow games to take home.

MAY DAY                     Monday 5^th May 2008 – Children do not attend school

Half Term                      Monday 26^th May to Friday 30^th May 2008

INSET DAYS                 Thursday 3^rd & Friday 4^th January 2008, Monday 7^th April 2008 and Thursday 26^th June 2008 are designated as staff development days. Children do not attend school on these days.

Harvest Festival Thursday October 18^th in the afternoon.
