FOXLEY The name is from old english fox-leah. Leah being a clearing in or around a wood.
a Medieval church and extensive natural woodland once a hunting ground
of kings. Foxley Wood in May Today the village is cut in two by the modern highway between Norwich and Fakenham. Two flourishing industries exist here. A plant breeding company called Floranova and Davis Egg distributors. There are a group of holiday homes known as Moor Farm Stable Cottages and a man-made fishing lake.
